Our first stage includes liaise with you on your project needs and specific requirements
Details of your product or material is very important and many factors are required including:
- Product Specifications: Copy of plans, schedule, CAD drawings. A picture or sample may be required for some materials
- Quantity: Knowing the quantity gives us an indication on how to approach the supplier; buying power we have on your behalf and negotiating a price and terms. The size of the order or type of product will also determine whether it is fees-able to work with a supplier, manufacturer or distributor.
- Standard Requirements: Most construction materials are required to conform to our Australian Standards and building regulations.
- Product certification and Supplier declaration of conformity requirements.
- Budget: What is your budget? Keeping in mind quality/cost rule.
- Date required: Having any products shipped according to your instructions is of upmost importance and required for all projects. A time schedule including production, loading, shipping and ETA is provided.
Once we have gathered all your information we then identify and procure potential suppliers or manufacturers and provide you with a shortlist of suppliers:
- Manufacturers and suppliers are shortlisted with detailed information including:
- Manufacturers assessment
- Inspection and Audit report
- Validation of all certificates and conformity if required
- Manufacturers Quality Management system if applicable
- Quotations if required
- Risk Assessment
- Sampling
Our shortlist is based on criteria’s where we verify the manufacturers business, operations and capabilities. Every manufacturer is internally audited and inspected with a continuous review of the purchasing cycle from the beginning of your project right through production, shipment and warranty end date if required. We carry out strict due diligence to ensure they are a reputable company and are capable of meeting your terms and contractual agreement.
Once the final supplier is selected and we both agree, we strategically negotiate according to your requirements to get the best price/quantity and delivery time and draw up a contractual agreement between you, FC2Y and the supplier. This agreement is legally binding document and is signed between all 3 parties. Our contracts are all written in Dual Languages.

We maintain regular contact with the you and the supplier providing information and report on the progress of production, which includes spot inspections, packaging inspections and container loading inspections.
On the completion of product order we organises the following:
- Quality check on your product prior shipping
- All shipping and logistics including documentation and customs clearance
- Delivery to your port destination or to your door if required
- On site deliveries are arranged to achieve deadlines

Agreements and Contracts are not included in our assisted Sourcing service. Contracts can be purchased from our blog. They are all written in English however we do offer Dual Language Contracts upon request.
